Description
ShapeLogic is an open source toolkit that is investigating the use of declarative programming techniques for image processing and computer vision. Programmed in Java, can be used as a plugin for ImageJ or with pure Java2D. The first real application for ShapeLogic is a particle analyzer . It will find and categorize particles on a relatively uniform background then make a report of geometric properties for each of the particles. The main application is for recognizing cells in medical image processing. The categorizer is either rule based or based on a neural network.

Contains:

  • Color particle analyzer
  • Particle counter
  • Segmentation
  • Vectorizer
  • Polygon recognizer
  • Declarative programming framework
  • Rule based letter match example
  • NIfTI-1 support
