Description
Mango is a multi-platform Java based image processing application developed for use in the Neuroimaging community. Processing tools are provided for MRI, CT, PET and SPECT images. Mango supports common image types (NIFTI, Analyze, DICOM, ACR-NEMA) and provides import capability for practically any biomedical image format (2-, 3-D and 4-D). Extensive entering and editing tools provide means to define ROIs and copy them between images using image or world coordinates, simplifying copying between low and high resolution images. It supports up to eight true image overlays (in image or world mode), with independent control of display window settings and colors. Analysis tools are provided for histogram generation, statistics (image or ROI based), interactive affine transforms, as well as 3-D surface generation and display. See the Mango website (http://ric.uthscsa.edu/mango/) for videos demonstrating many of the image processing and display features.
