- Supported platforms The arivis Vision4D will work on Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (32 bit) Windows Vista (32 or 64 bit) Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit) Windows 8 (32 or 64 bit) The recommended operating system is Windows 7 64 bit. Required software components and drivers The following software components are required and will be installed automatically when using the installer Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86) Aladdin HASP SRM driver ( http://www.aladdin.com/support/hasp.aspx ) Additional requirements for 3D/4D visualization Basic 4D User Experience To enable basic 3D/4D visualization, the graphics setup needs to fulfill the following requirements: Support for OpenGL 3.3 or higher Providing 512 MB of video adapter RAM ((G)DDR3 or newer) Recommended graphics drivers for the given setup Graphics card series fulfilling the basic requirements: NVIDIA (recommended by arivis) GeForce 8800 or the mobile equivalent with the latest Nvidia drivers Quadro FX 770 or the mobile equivalent with the latest Nvidia drivers AMD / ATI Radeon HD 4550 or the mobile equivalent with the latest AMD drivers FirePro 4900 or the mobile equivalent with the latest AMD drivers Advanced 4D User Experience To ensure a decent 3D/4D experience, the following requirements should be met: Graphics performance of 400 GFLOPS or more Providing 1 GB of video adapter RAM ((G)DDR3 or newer) Providing a 128-bit memory interface on (G)DDR3 cards or a 64-bit memory interface on GDDR5 hardware Graphics card series fulfilling the requirements for a decent experience: NVIDIA (recommended by arivis) GeForce GT 640 or the mobile equivalent with the latest Nvidia drivers Quadro FX 3800 or the mobile equivalent with the latest Nvidia drivers AMD / ATI Radeon HD 4770 (1GB GDDR5 edition) or the mobile equivalent with the latest AMD drivers Radeon FirePro 5900 or the mobile equivalent with the latest AMD drivers Ultimate 4D User Experience For the best possible 3D/4D experience, the following hardware specifications are recommended: Graphics performance of 2 TFLOPS or more Providing 2 GB of video adapter RAM (GDDR5 or newer) or more with at least a 192-bit memory interface Providing 8 GB of system RAM (DDR3 or newer) or more running Windows 7/8 64-bit Utilizing a current gen quad-core CPU (Intel i5/i7) Graphics card series fulfilling the requirements for the best experience: NVIDIA (recommended by arivis) Geforce GTX 760 with the latest Nvidia drivers AMD Radeon HD 7870 with the latest AMD drivers
